Michael D. Kresh CFP® CLU®
While managing small business pension plans in the 80s, Michael discovered a problem: instead of providing Employee Benefit Plans, loopholes in the law allowed for “Employer Benefit Plans” to take over. Michael frequently argued with clients about sharing the success their employees helped to achieve.
From then on, he realized he had a bigger role to play in educating others. Before owning Creative Wealth Management, LLC, in 1998, Michael served as a partner for Snyder Kresh Financial Services and Tectum Financial Services.
Michael’s goal is to put his clients on a path to achieving their long-term goals. He takes the time to help them understand their personal emotions about money and its effects on their financial behavior. He strongly believes that every aspect of a person’s life must holistically link together in order for them to take back control of their money.
In his free time, Michael enjoys spending time with his grandchildren, Elliot and Jonah, traveling, and playing tennis. He also sits on the editorial review board of the Journal For Financial Planning.
He is no stranger to the media and has appeared on many channels, including Fox News, NBC’s The Today Show, CBS Evening News, over 70 appearances on CNBC’s power lunch, and even on Tokyo’s Asahi TV.
